With intentions to return to the classroom, an opportunity arose for Ms. Ramsay in real estate through her husband’s family. Being in the presence of a family who ate, breathed and slept real estate was inspiring. Therefore, Ms. Ramsay pursued obtaining a real estate license in order to join the family business. Since 1995, Ms. Ramsay has served as a realtor with Ramsay Realtors, also known as Eric G. Ramsay Jr. Associates, LLC. Throughout her career, she has mastered the art of listening, searching and landing a dream home for her clients on Long Island’s area of Suffolk County. In addition to her work, Ms. Ramsay is a sponsor for the Charlie’s Champions Foundation, which raises awareness and funds to benefit the Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop University Hospital. With her exceptional traits and impressive repertoire of sales, Ms. Ramsay has been the recipient of various recognitions and accolades. In 2019, she was named to the Best of Zillow and honored to Top 10 Best Agents. Additionally, in 2018, she was named to America’s Top 100 Real Estate Agents. Ms. Ramsay attributes the bulk of her success to having a sales background from her experiences working and growing up at her father’s car dealerships. Looking ahead, Ms. Ramsay plans to slow down her time in sales and move to the management and teaching side of the business. With her son soon entering the family business, she hopes to train him to be a pristine and passionate realtor. Ms. Ramsay’s advice to her son, as well as other aspiring realtors, is to be in it for the long haul, as it takes time to get established and work your way up in the real estate world.
