Each year since 2018, Mr. Umanzor was ranked among the top 1% of agents nationwide acquired by Warren Buffet, and has been the recipient of the Best of Homelight Award, Best of Zillow Award and the Master’s Club Award. Additionally, Mr. Umanzor has received several nominations for recognitions from Real DC Metro Producers, The Washingtonian, Top Agent, Virginia Living and the Best of Bethesda. Mr. Umanzor attributes his success to his passion for helping others and wanting to better himself as a realtor. As a devoted Christian, Mr. Umanzor has never been driven by money. He believes the true nature of his profession is to help others, listen to them, be patient in their needs and wants, and figure out the best way to make clients satisfied with their home-buying situation. Mr. Umanzor says the highlight of his career was building his team and pushing his team to achieve personal success. Mr. Umanzor encourages others to “be hungry and knock on doors. If you fail, pick yourself up and keep trying. Surround yourself with the best and always help others.” Mr. Umanzor is a member of the Salvadoran Chamber of Commerce, Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. He also sits on the board for the Latino Association of Realtors. Looking ahead, Mr. Umanzor is pondering becoming a professional speaker. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures with his family and networking. J uan A.
