215 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine DR. RENEAU CHARLENE UFFORD KENNEDY FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGIST, CONSULTANT Honolulu, HI University of Oregon in 1981. She went on to obtain an EdD from Boston University in 1994. She has worked in the field of forensic psychology in roles as an assessment psychologist, court consultant and expert witness. Dr. Kennedy commenced her career in 1975 as a teacher and counselor with Victoria Department of Education in Australia and for the Department of Education in Papua New Guinea. She returned to the United States, and by 1989, completed two fellowships in clinical, forensic and neuropsychology at McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She was a clinical fellow in forensic psychology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School from 1992 to 1998. In 1996, while working as a forensic consultant in private practice in Weston, Massachusetts, Dr. Kennedy served as a consultant to the Kentucky Justice Cabinet and Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. In 1997, she relocated to Honolulu and became the training director and clinic supervisor for the Forensic and Behavioral Sciences Institute of Honolulu, followed by oversight of the same at the Honolulu Family Therapy Center. In 2003, she was appointed as the first forensic chief for the State Department of Mental Health. In 2006, she was appointed as the first mental health administrator for the Department of Public Safety. In both of these positions, she aided the State to meet compliance standards in a Department of Justice lawsuit against the state of Hawaii for violations of standards for treatment of the mentally ill in institutionalized settings. She is an inductee of the Honorary Order of Kentucky Colonels and an Aide De Camp for her efforts in helping the Attorney General of Kentucky establish standards and a treatment facility for violent juveniles. In her free time, Dr. Kennedy enjoys scuba diving, distance bike riding and triathlon events. A licensed psychologist since 1994, Dr. Reneau Kennedy has considered herself a public servant as a teacher, counselor and later as forensic evaluator, consultant and expert witness in legal matters. She achieved a BS in psychology, speech and education from Willamette University in 1975. She obtained an MS in psychology from the HEALTH AND WELLNESS
