163 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine R esiding in Bonita Springs, Florida, for 25 years, Noel Chase Jordan served as both the president and the chief executive officer of the Naples Marine Group. Introduced to the field by a friend, Mr. Jordan became immensely interested in the boating industry and building boats, and he later became the number one leader in the world for small commercial boats. He started off building houseboats, and progressed to large-scale yachts and commercial boats all while building his name and brand. Mr. Jordan received a Master of Business Administration in industrial engineering from the highly-regarded North Dakota State University in 1971; he was later offered a teaching role at his alma mater, where after teaching for one year, he was granted tenure. In addition to his primary role, Mr. Jordan worked as a rear admiral with the Société Internationale de Genève from 2012 to 2016. He previously served in various positions with the Trane Air Conditioning Co. Following his undergraduate years, Mr. Jordan worked for IBM before being recruited by Nick Trane from the Trane Air Conditioning Co. Mr. Jordan was hired to take over Mr. Trane’s role, where he began as the chief industrial engineer andmoved up to the division of financial manufacturing, in which he aided in the running of 11 United States plants. Becoming national sales manager and a number of other positions, Mr. Jordan was a key factor in the expansion and advancement of the Trane Company. After a deal with General Electric, Mr. Jordan became the sales manager and operations manager of the international division and merged the company with another company in Japan. Equally passionate about his civic responsibilities, Mr. Jordan currently serves as president of the Boy’s Club and president of the Lacrosse Area Economic Development Authority. Mr. Jordan credits his professional success to putting in hard work in his career and surrounding himself with a great team who has paid great attention to developing their staff as respectable professionals.
