She subsequently received a BA in biology in 2006 and a DDS in 2010, both from West Virginia University. Since 2011, Dr. Naylor-Wells has successfully owned and practiced out of West Lake Dentistry. Certified in minimal conscious sedation, Dr. Naylor-Wells has been recognized for her superior work in dentistry and was named to the Top 40 Under 40 Dental Professionals in the U.S. by Incisal Edge in 2019. Additionally, in 2018 and 2019, she was the recipient of the Normie Award by the Best of Lake Norman. Dr. Naylor-Wells attributes her success to being genuine, performing her best work, and leveraging the support of her family. She believes if you love what you do, it will show. Dr. Naylor-Wells is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Looking ahead, she hopes to sustain the success of the practice and continue to make procedures easy and comfortable for patients. NICOLE NAYLOR-WELLS, DDS LILLIA E. KING A fter receiving a BA in biology from the College of St. Elizabeth in 1970, Lillia E. King continued graduate coursework in hospital administration at the California College for Health Sciences and became a certified paralegal by theWashingtonOnline Learning Institute. From 2005 to 2010, she was a co-instructor of anatomy and physiology at the Schneider Regional Medical Center on the island of St. Thomas, where she was previously supervisor andmanager of the histopathology department from 1984 to 2010. Prior, Ms. King was a tissue technologist and territorial histologist at the Knud-Hansen Memorial Hospital and anatomy instructor at the University of the Virgin Islands. Ms. King received the Women’s International Leadership Association Award in 2013 and a Commendation Service Award from the Schneider Regional Medical Center in 2007. She has also taken home awards from the St. Thomas Hotel Association, the District Chamber of Commerce and the American Association of Bioanalysts, as well as a U.S. Congressional Recognition for Service in the Health Profession. Today, she is co-chair of the Keys & Sword Award Benefit for the Restoration of Steamship for Peter and Paul Catholic Cathedral, among other responsibilities.
