Since 2013, Ms. Garcia has been the founder and managing attorney at Garcia-Windsor, P.C., and since 2011, has served as an advisor to Uptmoor Enterprises. A renowned family law litigation attorney, Ms. Garcia chose this specific route because she wanted to help others dealing with family matters. In 2019, she received the Empire Builder Quality and Excellence Award from the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Association of Mexican Entrepreneurs, the Lawyer of Distinction Award in Family Law and was named to America’s Top Latino Lawyers by Latino Leader’s Magazine. Ms. Garcia attributes her success to her wonderful clients. Ms. Garcia started off as a legal intern at the Law Office of Mark R. Lee and a public information and assistance division intern at the Office of the Texas Attorney General in 2005. In 2008, she served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Carl Ginsberg of the 193rd Civil District Court and the Hon. Sam A. Lindsay of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. In 2010, she was a legal research assistant to the associate dean for research at UT Austin, a legal intern at Genesco Sports Enterprises, Inc., and in 2011, a legal research assistant at Clouse Dunn LLP. Ms. Garcia is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, Dallas Women Lawyers Association, and Association of Mexican Entrepreneurs, and is the president and founder of the Women’s Pre-Law Academic Society. She sits on the board for the Mexican American Bar Association of Dallas. I sabela A. Garcia, Esq., received a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and a JD from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2011.
