He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1958. Since 1978, Mr. Isaacson has practiced out of Isaacson Sheridan and holds Martindale Hubbell’s Top Peer Review Rating. Representing clients in a variety of legal matters, including state and federal litigation, business and corporate law, commercial transactions, tax planning and land use entitlements, he is backed by experience from two law firms in Greensboro, in which he worked from 1961 to 1968 and 1968 to 1978. Mr. Isaacson is known for being a founding member of the board of directors for NCCJ of the Piedmont Triad. Named Lawyer of the Year for Land Use and Zoning Law in Triad in 2012, 2014 and 2020, Mr. Isaacson is a notable recipient of numerous recognitions. He has been named to Best Lawyers in America each year since 2007, named The Triad’s Most Influential People by the Triad Business Journal in 2005, 2006 and from 2008 to 2016, and named to North Carolina’s Legal Elite in 2007. In 2009, he was the recipient of the Centennial Award for Outstanding and Exemplary Community Service from the North Carolina and Greensboro Bar Associations, and in 2005, he was named a North Carolina Super Lawyer. He also received the NCCJ Brotherhood Citation Award, which he is proudest to have earned. Mr. Isaacson attributes his success to hard work and inheriting a strong work ethic from his grandparents. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Greensboro Bar Association, Triad Real Estate and Building Industry Coalition and North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Association. Additionally, Mr. Isaacson served in the Air Force on active duty for approximately 36 months, and then worked with the Air Force Reserves. I nspired by the selflessness of his wife, Alice, Henry H. Isaacson chose to pursue law school following her support to uphold the family financially while he studied. Setting him up on the path to success, Mr. Isaacson achieved his JD, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1958, having previously LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT
