Krall, Esq., received a BA in mathematics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and then worked for Buck Consultants as an actuary for one year. He enjoyed the responsibilities of the position, and he realized what he liked about mathematics was not the crunching of the numbers, but the logic and the reasoning used to compute. In 1989, Mr. Krall achieved a JD from Case Western Reserve University, and has practiced exclusivey in the trusts and estates area, which has provided him with an intersection of analytical skills and social skills. Mr. Krall was admitted to the Ohio Bar and Supreme Court of Ohio in 1989, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 1993. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel since 2007. Since 2011, he has been an attorney with Cavitch, Familo & Durkin, based in Cleveland and Akron, where he specializes in estate planning, probate and trust administration, and business law. Between 1989 and 2011, Mr. Krall has served as an attorney at McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Haiman; Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs; Kaufmann & Kaufmann; and Weston Hurd. For two years from 1997 to 1999, he was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Akron School of Law. Mr. Krall has since been honored with a Martindale-Hubbell AV Rating, recognizing him for strong legal ability and high ethical standards. He has also been named among the Best Lawyers in America for Trusts and Estates since 2006. Mr. Krall is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and is a past chair of its Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section. He is also a Fellow of the Akron Bar Association Foundation and a member of the Akron and Cleveland Estate Planning Councils. He is also an editor for the Probate Law Journal of Ohio.
