Gill & Associates, Inc., in Miami, Florida, since 1990, Marie R. Gill received a BS in economics in 1970, an MA in mass communications in 1972, and an MBA in 1974, all from the University of the West Indies, and the University of Toronto, Canada. She is a founding member and president of the Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce, vice president of the Association of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce, and spearheads Women Mean Business International, which celebrated its 10 th anniversary in 2020. Ms. Gill was honored with the 2020 International Women’s Day Award by World Trade Center Miami, and in 2019, was named among 100 Successful Women in Business in Florida. She received the 2019 Gold Medal Award from Miami Today and was the recipient of the African American Achiever’s Award for Entrepreneurism from JM Family Enterprises in 2004. She believes in funneling resources to develop and grow small businesses, and is renowned for her work in helping minorities, women, veterans and the disadvantaged. Prior to her current role, Ms. Gill was a private consultant and worked in economic development for the government of Jamaica. MARIE R. GILL DR. JEFFREY FRANCIS MAGROWSKI D r. Jeffrey Francis Magrowski received a BA from the University of Central Florida in 1976, MS from Florida State University in 1978 and PhD in health and human services from Columbia Pacific University in 1991. He is responsible for quantifying the assessment of non- economic damages in a legal setting, and he owns the rights to the word “hedonology,” as the founder of the Hedonology Institute. Hedonics is the study of the impact an injury or incident has on an individual’s lifestyle. Since 1980, Dr. Magrowski has been a vocational expert witness and consultant via his private practice, as well as for the Social Security Administration and the U.S. Department of Labor. From 1978 to 1983, he was a vocational rehabilitation specialist and senior consultant at Crawford Rehabilitation Service, Inc. He spent one year at Ellis & Associates. He attributes his success to his interest in helping people. Dr. Magrowski is a member of the National Rehabilitation Association, National Rehabilitation Counseling Association, American Rehabilita- tion Economics Association, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, and Sons of the American Revolution.
