100 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION A udrey JaneWolfinger is an accomplished librarian who has served the education industry for more than 30 years. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in 1955, she was employed by the Neshaminy School District in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, as a member of the library staff. From 1955 to 1976, she served as a librarian and audio visual coordinator at Neshaminy Junior High School and from 1976 until her retirement in 1984, she was a librarian at Neshaminy High School. Among her career highlights, she greatly enjoyed teaching students how to properly conduct research. Post-retirement, Ms. Wolfinger served as a longtime editor of the Wolfinger Family Newsletter between 1988 and 2004. In addition, she has maintained affiliation with such prestigious organizations as the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Society of Daughters of the American Colonists, the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania and the Bucks County Genealogical Society, where she has served as president pro tem since 2001. Prior, she was vice president, president and resource center director for the Bucks County Genealogical Society. Prior to delving into librarianship, Ms. Wolfinger was greatly inter- ested in music while also maintaining an interest in literature. Desiring to pursue higher education, she attended Kutztown State Teachers College, where she earned a Bachelor of Education in 1955. She subse- quently received a teacher’s certificate from Temple University in 1957. After accruing several years of experience in education, she returned to college at Florida State University and obtained a Master of Library Science in 1970. A former board of directors member of the Neshaminy Valley Music Theatre, Ms. Wolfinger enjoys listening to baroque music in her spare time. In addition, she enjoys reading British mystery books and researching family history. She advises future professionals in her industry to proceed enthusiastically with their goals and perform to the best of their abilities.
