Ms. Redick-Yundt has been the CEO and founder of FAMES Hawaii, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, for nearly two decades. FAMES Hawaii has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships for deserving students. She has already bestowed the “FAMES Hall of Fame” honor to 15 selected community leaders. As the owner and executive director of Miss Paradise Hawaii, Miss Oahu and Miss Waikiki Scholarship Pageants, she is passionate about mentoring and coaching young women preparing for scholarship pageants for Miss Hawaii America. She herself was crowned Mrs. Hawaii United States in 2002. Ms. Redick-Yundt has authored three books: “Million Dollar Attitude,” original and the bestseller second edition, and “It’s All About Attitude: Still Sexy at Sixty… and Beyond!” Since 2007, she has produced and hosted “Joni Show,” a talk show featuring leaders to local television. J oni B. Redick-Yundt was born and raised in the Philippines. The lack of amenities motivated her to rise above her humble beginnings. She arrived in Hawaii when she was 14 years old to find her American Dream. At 16, she began college and majored in accounting and nursing. After 20 years in nursing, she pursued a new career in the financial field. After the unexpected deaths of her sister and nephew, she learned the perils of not having financial protection to buffer life’s surprise events. Ms. Redick-Yundt started her financial career in 1998 and achieved Rookie of the Year and Million Dollar Roundtable within one year. She was promoted to career development supervisor and sales manager. In 2014, she was promoted to managing director. She has earned multiple recognitions, including Leader’s Club, Centurion Club and Presidential Platinum Management citation awards. The U.S. Small Business Administration awarded her the Business Champion of the Year and Business Woman Advocate, and she was featured in Hawaii Business Magazine. She was founder and president of theMillionDollar Chapter of Business Network International. Recently, she was selected as the first honoree from the State of Hawaii for the International Top Influential Business & Community Leader in 2021 by IAOTP. For this JONI B.
