102 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION D riven by a desire to help others, Aaron C. Bass Jr. is renowned for his immeasurable years in the educational system. Most recently, from 2012 to 2014, he was an adjunct professor at Pennsylvania State University, and from 2009 to 2011, was the executive sales department manager at Joseph A. Bank. Additionally, Mr. Bass was a research and assessment specialist for the William Penn School District for one year, as well as a pupil data analyst, research assistant and research associate for the School District of Philadelphia between 1974 and 2005. He was also a learning specialist at the Urban Care Education Center in 1974. To back his vast career experience, Mr. Bass is currently pursuing a doctorate from the United Lutheran Seminary. He also holds a BA in psychology from Lincoln University, an MA in social psychology from Temple University, an AA in data processing from the Community College of Philadelphia, and an MDiv from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Notably, Mr. Bass received the Award for Most Unique Reporting Technique for Career Education Accumulative Report from the National Education Resource Information Center in 1980. ADJUNCT PROFESSOR Pennsylvania State University Philadelphia, PA E ntomology, also known as the study of insects, was introduced to Dr. Darrell Edward Bay during his graduate studies. Inspired by a senior-level graduate student while working at a laboratory, Dr. Bay sought to pursue the branch of zoology further and transform it into a career. Drawing upon a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and PhD from Kansas State University, he began his tenure at Texas A&M University in College Station as an assistant professor in 1974. Advancing to associate professor in 1978, he was again promoted to full professor in 1984. He remains a full professor to this day. Specializing in veterinary entomology, Dr. Bay is proudest of his students whom he has taught, and notes that his instruction of undergraduate students who were interested in veterinary and medical schools was most gratifying. He maintains affiliation with the Entomological Society of America, the American Registry of Professional Entomologists and the Southwestern Entomological Society, for which he served as president in 1982. As a testament to his success, Dr. Bay was selected for inclusion in the 23rd edition of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest in 1992.
