117 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING before becoming a research hydraulic engineer in 1967. In this position, he was relocated from Tempe to Tucson, Arizona, where he was also a research leader between 1986 and 1990. In 1990, he transferred to the Department of Agriculture’s office in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he was a research hydraulic engineer until his engineering retirement in 2002. Although retired, Mr. Frasier continued serving in a professional capacity at Colorado State University, where he was an affiliated faculty member from 2002 to 2020. Throughout the course of his career, he has conducted research and involved himself in rangeland hydrology, where he also conducted fieldwork in collecting rainwater across the globe. He also developed and understood precipitation patterns and the establishment of plant establishment under semi-arid conditions, as well as understood water runoff in undisturbed sites, such as natural rangeland and forest lands. Mr. Frasier holds a BS in agricultural engineering from Colorado State University and a Master of Civil Engineering from Arizona State University. He has also contributed myriad articles and scientific papers to professional journals, and was the editor of the Journal of Range Management from 1990 to 2004 and Rangelands from 1984 to 2008. A former fellow, president, first vice president, second vice president and life legacy member of the Society for Range Management, Mr. Frasier is also amember of the Soil andWater Conservation Society and a 50-year member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. The Society for Range Management has honored him with the 1996 Outstanding Achievement Award, 2001 W.R. Chapline Research Scientist Award and 2006 Fredrich G. Renner Award. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Frasier has been highlighted in Who’s Who in America. H olding an interest in the water aspect of environmental conditions from a young age, GaryW. Frasier is a retired research hydraulic engineer who accrued 50 years of experience in his field.
