A chartered financial analyst since 1987, he was the owner and portfolio manager of Mill Asset Management, Inc., from 1995 until his retirement in 2017. Boasting a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Denver from 1984, Mr. Mill is a member of the Denver Society of Security Analysts. Additionally, he is a former member of the Colorado Mountain Club, drawing upon his immense experience in mountain climbing. Notably, he has climbed nearly 30 fourteeners in Colorado, which are mountain peaks with an elevation of over 14,000 feet. He also enjoys exercising, biking, hiking, camping and river rafting. Currently residing in Centennial, Colorado, Mr. Mill hopes to travel to Iceland and Scandinavia in five years’ time. As a testament to his success, he was selected for inclusion in the 27th edition of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry in 1991. F rom a young age, Jerry W. Mill was intrigued by the space program and would watch the launches of theMercury and Gemini programs with his peers. Subsequent to earning a Bachelor of Arts inphysics fromtheUniversityof CaliforniaBerkeley in 1967, he was offered a job by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston (now known as the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center). From 1967 to 1980, he served the center as an engineer, where he notably worked in the Mission Operations Control Room as a guidance officer. There, he oversaw the guidance, navigation and control subsystem for Apollo missions 10, 11, 13, 14, 17 and Skylab. Furthermore, he participated in the Apollo missions 12, 14, 15, 16 and the Apollo Soyuz Test Project in 1975. From 1980 to 1985, Mr. Mill served as an engineer at Martin Marietta, Inc., after the halt of the space programs from the 1960s and 1970s. There, he changed the trajectory of his career to that of financial management and subsequently served as a portfolio manager and financial analyst for Financial Programs in Denver from JERRY W.
