127 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING Broach & Machine Company, Air Gage’s Precise Technology and Electronics Division, Schenck Pegasus and Uniroyal Tire Company beginning in 1983. At Uniroyal, he served as a development and design engineer for nine years before departing from the company in 1992. Throughout his career, Mr. Pielach has been a prolific inventor, having developed the tire uniformity machine and various other inventions throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. He enjoys devising novel ideas and witnessing them being created, assembled and working, and he notes that it has been fulfilling to watch his ideas turn into a reality. He attributes his profound success to his ability to learn new ideas, listen to other individuals’ ideas and opinions, and work as a team with his colleagues. To prepare for his career, Mr. Pielach received associate degrees in fluid power and machining technology from Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Science in engineering from California Coast University. A certified engineer in machine design and robotics, he was named a lifetime member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, from whom he received Certificates of Appreciation in 1989 and 1990. Mr. Pielach maintained membership with the Society of Automotive Engineers for approximately 15 years. Married to his wife Anna Marie Sacha since 1977, he is the proud father of one daughter, Elizabeth, and grand- father of two granddaughters, Isabella and Sophia. In his spare time, he enjoys metal- working. Notably, he owns a metal shop, where he builds various pieces of equipment such as steam engines and table lamps. Looking towards the future, he intends to continue consulting on a part-time basis and taking on odd jobs as they appear. I nterested in discovering how things worked mechanically from a young age, Martin Pielach accrued more than 40 years of experience within the field of engineering prior to his retirement.
