Fragomeni sought to enter his profession from an early age and wanted to contribute to engineering, metallurgy, materials science and technology. Renowned for his research on aluminum-lithium alloys for aerospace application and titanium alloys for biomedical applications, he sits on the editorial board of the SCIREA Journal of Metallurgical Engineering and is a reviewer for the AASCIT Journal of Materials. An advisor for Guidepoint Global, Dr. Fragomeni is a past mechanical engineering consultant for Engineering and Science Consulting Services. He is also a past assistant professor at the University of Detroit Mercy, Ohio University and University of Alabama. Proudest of his research conducted in materials science and metallurgy, Dr. Fragomeni maintains affiliation with the ASQ, the American Society for Engineering Education and the American Society for Materials. He is a 2016 listee in 2,000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century and was inducted into Great Men and Women of Science in 2018. S upported by 55 years of experience in engineering and academia, Dr. Shu Lin has been serving the University of California Davis as an electrical engineering educator for 20 years, having previously served the University of Hawaii in Honolulu for 34 years. Renowned for his books on coding theory and its application to reliable communication and storage systems, he is the co-author of “Error Control Coding: Fundamentals and Applications” with Daniel J. Costello from 1983. Their publication debuted a second edition in 2004, which has been cited extensively and utilized across the globe, available on Amazon.com . Dr. Lin holds a BSEE from National Taiwan University, and an MSEE and DEng in electrical engineering from Rice University. He was invited to be a visiting scientist at the IBM Watson Research Laboratory for one year, and served as a distinguished visiting professor at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Japan. Elected a life fellow of the IEEE, Dr. Lin received a Distinguished Merit Award from the State of Hawaii, the Alexander von Humboldt Research Prize, the IEEE Leon K.
