WHITE S upported by over 50 years of experience in engineering and thermodynamics, Leroy A. White is distinguished in his field for his expertise in and advocacy for green energy. Drawing upon a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron, he was licensed as a professional engineer in five states and serves as the engineer for a “System of Operating Photovoltaic Arrays during the Nighttime.” Formerly affiliated with the Indianapolis Methodist Hospital, Mr. White is notable for installing a hybrid chilled water system for the hospital’s central plant, which included one of the first gas fired chillers to reduce electrical demand. To date, he has installed five residential green systems on his property. In addition, he has hosted green energy tours in Ohio, backed by his beliefs in environmental conservation and solar energy. Mr. White’s passion for engineering stems from his childhood as a paper boy, and he proudly watched his father excel as a master carpenter. He attributes his success to hard work and honesty. The proud father of two children and grandfather of four grandchildren, Mr. White and his wife enjoy gardening in their spare time on three wooded acres. S ince he was a child, Dr. Willie Williams Jr. has been interested in understanding the nature of the universe. Drawing upon a BS from Southern University, as well as an MS and PhD from Iowa State University, he first served Lincoln University in Pennsylvania as an assistant professor of physics in 1974 before being promoted to associate professor and a full professor. During his tenure, he also served as chairman of the Department of Physics, was the director of the pre-engineering program and was the founder and director of the Lincoln Advanced Science and Engineering Reinforcement (LASER) Program, among other roles. Departing from Lincoln University in 1996, Dr. Williams then began serving the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., in myriad roles, culminating in his present role as manager of enterprise ground acquisition. Today, he is recognized for developing the TITAN concept andmanaging the development and acquisition of the first community- wide GEOINT data service. In 2016, Dr. Williams earned the U.S. Army Geospatial-Intelligence Office Certificate of Achievement. Most recently, he was selected as a finalist in the 2020 Air Force Innovation Awards Program.
