Allison is now a coveted financial advisor for Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., in Chicago. Obtaining this role in 1996, he has always valued the humanistic side of financial matters, and desired to work closely and personally with each of his clients. Presently, Mr. Allison and his firm serve 35 families with a current goal of extending their services to 75 families. He notes that once they acquire those 75 families, they will cease their marketing and strictly take care of those individuals on a one-on-one basis. While pursuing undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago, Mr. Allison was fortunate to be exposed to the exchanges of the Chicago Stock Exchange, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Board of Trade. His experience on the trading floor sparked within him a desire to pursue his financial goals on a personal and professional level. From there, he met a broker who required additional assistance, thus prompting his entry into the financial planning industry. Earlier in his career, Mr. Allison served as a broker’s assistant for Lehman Brothers from 1991 to 1993 and a registered trading assistant for Prudential Securities from 1993 to 1995. In 2011, he was exposed to a business model that he adopted into his own practice, which was value-based financial planning. This model emphasizes the significance of the clients’ financial and personal needs, which Mr. Allison believes is much more successful than simply giving financial advice. In light of his successes in the field, Mr. Allisonwas named a Five StarWealth Manager for eight consecutive years between 2012 and 2019. He has also been recognized by Ameriprise Financial Services for his exemplary work in client satisfaction. Despite these accomplishments, however, he is proudest of helping others do well for themselves and live out their best values. Married to his wife Courtney for many years, Mr. Allison currently resides in Chicago. Looking toward the future, Mr. Allison intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
