F rom a young age, Mary Carter knew she was destined for a career in business. Working with a popcorn wagon in her formative years, she innately understood the utilization of money and sought to pursue business as a career choice. While studying toward her graduate education, she discovered the financial services industry and became a financial advisor for CG in 1981. Graduating with a BS from St. Cloud University, she remained with CG until 1988. That year, she opened her own financial services firm, Mary Carter Financial Services, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, where she now serves as a financial advisor and branch manager. Lauded for being an encourager and mentor to dozens of families looking for financial advice, Ms. Carter also earned an MA in counseling from the University of North Florida. Coupled with her counseling degree, her love of finance and helping others has garnered her an excellent reputation with her clients and colleagues. She has been certified as a financial planner, as well as a financial consultant.
