McCoy has been the founder, chief executive officer and president of DesignPoint, Inc., in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, since 1995. Starting the business as a one-man firm, the company recently celebrated their 25 th anniversary and has grown to 16 employees. DesignPoint is a full service interior architecture and design firm that has been highly regarded by clients across the United States. Focusing their efforts on interior environments with a specialty in senior living, DesignPoint is the premier source of design for senior living communities. As founder and president, Mr. McCoymaintains involvement in all aspects of marketing and overseeing the interior design process. Under his leadership, DesignPoint has garnered an immaculate reputation and received a Gold Seal Award from the NAHB National Council of Senior Living for designing the $15 million renovation project at the Fountains at Logan Square in Philadelphia. Prior to establishing DesignPoint, he was a project engineer and designer for Stevens & Associates, a prominent consulting engineer firm in Bethlehem. Impressively, DesignPoint has been featured in such publications as Hospitality Design Magazine and the cover of AWI’s Design Solutions Magazine. Mr. McCoy is a member of the International Interior Design Association, and formerly served on the Design Council for Durkan Patterned Carpet, Inc., and office space task force for the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. Likewise, he previously sat on the board of directors of the Literacy Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
