SUNDERMAN I nterested in accounting from an early age, Lloyd H. Sunderman is a distinguished certified public accountant who most recently served as president of Lloyd H. Sunderman, CPA, PC, in Yuma, Arizona, from 1996 until his retirement in 2010. With the practice taken over by his son-in-law, who has grown the practice substantially, Mr. Sunderman previously served in several accounting-related positions throughout Arizona beginning in 1962. Mr. Sunderman holds a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University from 1961. He considers opening his own practice as the highlight of his career, as it was the commencement of prosperity within his professional life. Alongside his primary endeavors, he has served as chairman of the board of the School Tuition Association of Yuma since 1997, which gives students the opportunity to attend private schools. He was elected chairman of the board of the Yuma Chamber of Commerce from 1982 to 1983. As a testament to his success, Mr. Sunderman was recognized with Lloyd Sunderman Recognition Day on July 21, 2009 by the City of Yuma. He was also honored as Boss of the Year by Yuma High School Cooperative Education in 1977 and 1978.
