Mr. Singh has earned numerous achievement awards from highly esteemed leaders, includ- ing New York senators and assemblymen, New York City councilmen and the comptroller of New York, totaling over 25 awards during his career. A n advocate within the realms of philanthropy, government service and law, Harbachan Singh, Esq., was raised in an environment in which service to the local community and mankind was of the utmost importance. Emphasizing the significance of brotherhood, Mr. Singh hailed from humble beginnings and exemplified his self-determination by pursuing formal education in London after serving as a police interpreter for the Royal Malaysian Police between 1957 and 1963. In 1967, he became a barrister-at-law and went on to serve as an advocate and solicitor for the Allen & Gledhill Law Firm in Malaysia for the following two years. After immigrating to the United States in 1969, Mr. Singh was employed by the United Nations (UN) in New York as chief of travel for 10 years. For the following 11 years, he was chief of transportation, and from 1987 to 1999, he was chairman of the Headquarters Property Survey Board.
