229 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HOSPITALITY AND LEISURE T he owner and chef and Francesco’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in Maitland, Florida, since 2011, Francesco Aiello has always boasted a great passion for cooking. Earning a culinary degree while studying in Italy, he relocated to Central Florida, where he served as a chef for various restaurants for more than 20 years prior to opening his restaurant and pizzeria. Francesco’s Ristorante & Pizzeria offers lunch and dinner specials of exquisite Italian dishes, as well as their famous 13-inch pizzas, which are baked in a wood-burning oven. Additionally, the restaurant also offers catering to individuals, businesses and corporations. Described by his colleagues as a hard-working individual, Mr. Aiello truly believes in the power of his work, and takes great pleasure in speaking to customers and seeing them enjoy their meals. Inspired by his family, he notes that his father, mother and grandfather were wonderful cooks, and Mr. Aiello grew up with delicious meals in the household. Civically involved as well, Mr. Aiello enjoys doing charity work within his local community. He is an advocate for breast cancer awareness and often participates in campaigns to help those living with breast cancer. Additionally, he regularly donates food to children who have been displaced from their homes. A former professional soccer player, Mr. Aiello was taught by the soccer team’s personal chef, which ignited his desire to open his own restaurant. Looking ahead in five years’ time, he intends to continue remaining successful in the food industry, as well as remain in the kitchen of his own restaurant. He notes that he enjoys controlling one restaurant over several locations as one can ensure that the quality and consistency of the business is thriving. In recognition of his and his restaurant’s success, Mr. Aiello was named Hall of Fame Man of the Year and was twice nominated for Best Chef.
