231 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HOSPITALITY AND LEISURE I nspired by the American dream, Antonio D’Alelio has accrued nearly 30 years of expertise within the food industry and currently serves as the president, owner and chief executive officer of Lilly’s Fresh Pasta in Everett, Massachusetts. Obtaining these positions in 2010, Mr. D’Alelio is proud to have served the gourmet fresh pasta company for several years, which has been supplying New England restaurants with fresh pasta since the mid-1980s. Offering homemade pasta, ravioli, tortellini, tortelloni and gnocchi, the company was spearheaded by Mr. D’Alelio’s mother, Lilly, after her immigration to the United States from Italy. Mr. D’Alelio attributes his success to his dedication to the craft, as well as self-discipline. He believes that products are continuously changing, and one needs to continue adapting to the ever-changing industry and learn as different generations come aboard. Likewise, he was inspired by his mother, whose relationships with colleagues, clients, friends and family have been genuine and passionate. When asked of his career highlights, Mr. D’Alelio states that the crowning achievement of his career has been building a company that is highly regarded by his employees. He strives to continue his mother’s legacy for years to come and works by the mantras, “Turn a negative into a positive” and “Every opportunity comes with a challenge.” Drawing upon a professional chef degree from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, Mr. D’Alelio has maintained affiliation with the National Pasta Association and was named Manufacturer Representative of the Year by Cisco Boston in 2013. In 1993, he also earned a Gold Medal for his mushroom ravioli and lobster ravioli pasta from Chefs of America. Looking toward the future, he intends to focus more of his energy on his personal life while balancing it with his professional life.
