Located in the heart of Springfield, Missouri, Everyday Thai is a premier Thai restaurant offering appetizers, soups, curry, seafood, noodles, fried rice, stir fry and salads to everyday customers. With dishes prepared by Mr. Shutt’s wife, Thippawan Shutts, Everyday Thai’s freshly made cuisine is backed by decades of authentic cooking experience in eastern Thailand fashion. Unique to the establishment, each dish can be customized in various levels of spice from mild to “Thai hot.” As a testament to the restaurant’s success, Everyday Thai was named among the Top 100 Restaurants in America by Yelp in 2019. Alongside this venture, Mr. Shutts also runs a food truck. Additionally, he recently opened a new restaurant in February 2020 called Brick and Water Restaurant, which also serves Thai food. To build upon their restauranteur career, Mr. Shutts and his wife have purchased a new building in Springfield, Missouri, which is larger and can accommodate a wider kitchen and more seating for customers. Prior to establishing his restaurant business, Mr. Shutts served in the United States Army for a resounding 24 years. He received a Bronze Star and several Army Commendation Medals as a result of his courageous service. Subsequent to departing from the military, he was inspired to open a restaurant with his wife’s cooking in order to support his family. Since that time, his business acumen and her exquisite culinary expertise melded together to create Everyday Thai. Looking toward the future, Mr. Shutts intends to open the first international Thai food chain, as well as continue growing professionally and franchising his restaurant. He attributes his success to his wife’s fantastic cooking and their ability to work together as a team in order to make each customer feel valued and appreciated.
