241 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT N icholas Elefterakis is a noteworthy attorney who has served as a founding partner, managing partner and general counsel to Elefterakis, Elefterakis & Panek in New York since 2011. Focusing his attention on negotiating millions of dollars in compensation for injured clients, he notably served as appellate counsel in Santiago v. J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Alongside his career endeavors, he has sat on the executive committee of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and maintains membership with the Brooklyn Bar Association and Columbian Lawyers Association. To prepare for his career, Mr. Elefterakis pursued formal education at Fordham University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business management in 2007. Subsequently, he received a JD from Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law in 2010. Since then, he has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Impressively, Mr. Elefterakis has further dedicated his time to philanthropic efforts, such as EEP Youth Baseball, which focuses on not only the competitive nature of sports on the field, but also transforming children into productive members of their community while off the field. Based in Brooklyn, New York, EEP Youth Baseball and Mr. Elefterakis’ other charitable endeavors seek to create affordable options to increase inclusivity within the community. Inspired by family members who have also delved into the legal industry, Mr. Elefterakis is supported by his brother John, who is also a founding partner of EEP. Mr. Elefterakis notes that it is of the utmost importance to treat clients with respect and dignity, and he says that he considers his colleagues and clients as part of his extended family.
