He earned a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance, graduating cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1996 and received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University in 2003. Philanthropically involved as well, from 2018 to 2020, Mr. Palmer served as a board member for Volunteer McKinney and sat on the law firm practice management committee of the State Bar of Texas in 2019. He is a Life Member of the Texas Family Law Foundation, and maintains membership in the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Collin County Bar Association and the Frisco Bar Association.
