Celebrating 40 years’ exemplary career achievements, leadership qualities, credentials and successes, he has been cited in close to 20 editions of Who’s Who in: Finance and Industry, America, Science and Engineering, and the World. Mr. Temple leveraged his 1979 Cornell University Architect’s Degree to become a celebrated educator; an effective community activist and philanthropist of the public good; an award-winning architect and writer; and global sustainability advocate, strategist and consultant. His cross-disciplinary leadership, founded on extensive experience from local to global scales, builds lofty theorizing into down-to-earth realities. Dubbed “a modern-day Renaissance man” and “an important spokesperson and guide for the global Earth-healing movement” by global leaders and Native American Elders, he is an effective change agent; an important influencer and global thought leader; and a driving force for cross-cultural transformation. Mr. Temple taught at Hobart/William Smith, Syracuse, Cornell, and in association with ETH Zurich, serving as a highly-regarded professor, academic consultant, senator, strategist and design advisor. As an architect, he received numerous architectural design excellence awards. He founded the Sustainable Resource Center; helped found the Tibetan Resettlement Project at Ithaca; helped design Crestone Charter School; and served as founding board member for EcoVillageIthaca. Mr. Temple founded/manages Shining Golden Suns, LLC, a Colorado-based independent ac- tivism/advocacy publisher. He is known for his highly-acclaimed “Global Awakening” series.
