Mr. Steininger has been a researcher for “The Airport System in Germany: An Investigation from a Regulatory Perspective” since 2008 and “Socioeconomic Determinants of Electoral Behavior in Empirical-Ecological Analysis” since 2001. Contributing to myriad publications, he has also participated in refereed journals and has authored articles to professional journals. Well-versed in the real estate economy, Mr. Steininger aims to focus his empirical research on correctly predicting the effects of the economic and financial crisis of 2008-2009, and the COVID-19 pandemic on their respective countries and regions. He hopes that by studying these phenomena, he can provide the right derivations for the real estate industry. Mr. Steininger participated in the second meeting of the Nobel laureates in economics in Lindau. I nterested in the interface between economics and politics, as well as the empirical research available within the fields, Martin Steininger is a noted economist and scholar who has accrued over 20 years of experience in his profession. Since 2008, he has served as a research associate at the Department of Political Science at RWTH Aachen University, as well as at Technische Universität München. Concurrent with these academic roles, his main activity is his work as chief economist at bulwiengesa AG since 2008. Earlier in his career, Mr. Steininger served Technische Universität München as a teaching and research associate between 1999 and 2008, having previously served the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in the same capacity from 1998 to 1999. He draws upon diplomas from the aforementioned university from 1997 (in economics) and 1998 (in statistics).
