As philoso- phized by Carl Jung, “ As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darknessofmerebeing. ”Undoubtedly, we have all experienced our fair share of struggles this past year, but if one thing is for certain, it is this: the light of the human spirit cannot be extinguished. Regardless of age, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, disability, religion or creed, there remains a communal perseverance and desire to help one another, even during the darkest times, which ultimately sparks the ignition of progress.
