Steered toward the county courts in Greene County, Missouri, he worked for the Greene County Police Department in Springfield as an officer beginning in 1988 before relocating to Texas. From there, he became an officer at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Livingston, Texas, until 2019. Since that time, he has served as an officer at the Onalaska Police Department in Onalaska, Texas. Congruent to his role as an officer in law enforcement, Mr. Green has also excelled as a volunteer firefighter for his local community. Reflecting on his career trajectory, he attributes his profound success to being a perfectionist and striving to achieve his best at every opportune moment. In the early stages of his career, he revered the Missouri Highway Patrol, noting that they carried themselves with professionalism, as well as the Texas Rangers, whom he sees as an iconic police organization. When asked of advice he would provide to aspiring law enforcement professionals, Mr. Green advises that it is imperative to let go of personal prejudice and focus on the safety of civilians while keeping in mind the ever-changing nature of the field. He emphasizes that it is important to strive to be the best one can become, regardless of what other individuals may think or perceive of you. Born on October 9, 1957 in Houston, Texas, Mr. Green currently resides in Rye, Texas.
