She joined Tri County Investigations in 2000 under the tutelage of its previous owner, and following 12 years of dedicated service as a process server, Ms. Tyk took the helm. Now serving as the owner and private detective with Tri County Investigations, she makes it her mission to help others who seek her services, including more than 3,000 attorneys nationwide. Earlier in her career, she served such companies as Firefly Legal and United Process, Inc., as a process server. Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Tyk is especially proud of being elected the president of the Associated Detectives and Security Agencies of Illinois, Inc., in 2018. Throughout her career, she has also maintained affiliation with the Notary Public Association, the World Association of Detectives, the Worldwide Association of the Service of Process, the Illinois Association of Professional Process Servers, the National Council of Investigations & Security Services and the National Association of Professional Process Servers, among other organizations. Civically engaged as well, Ms. Tyk has devoted her spare time to serving local charities and law enforcement organizations, the AKRTI and an orphanage in Nepal. She is a commissioned notary through the Notary Public Association and received a permanent employee registration card from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations. Looking toward the future, Ms. Tyk intends to expand the scope of her business and experience the continued growth and success of her career. Ultimately, she would like to double her company’s revenue and eventually pass down the business to her daughters, Stephanie and Marielle, who both currently work for the company.
