For 20 fruitful years, she served as a secretary for the San Diego Community College District in California, where she also aided in the Disability Program at Mesa College. She also served as a machinist for Scanivalve for 20 years. Demonstrating versatility throughout her career, she is also a talented singer, dancer, quilter, tutor, writer and volunteer who has dedicated her efforts to a plethora of nonprofit organizations. Additionally, she has helped fundraise for museums throughout California. Notably, Ms. Harris was the first individual at Mesa College to receive the Unsung Hero Award. She has maintained affiliation with the Alpine Women’s Club and the Alpine Historical and Conservation Society, serving both organizations as a secretary. Attributing her success to her unwavering commitment to her goals, she holds an associate degree from Mesa College. Looking toward the future, she intends to continue contributing to her community and the betterment of others. She has been married to her husband, Andy Reynolds, since 1966. Most recently serving as vice president of administration for The Kresge Foundation until his retirement in 2013, Richard Kent Rappleye has spent his career in the financial, consulting and educational sectors to share his wealth of knowledge with others. Formerly excelling in executive roles with such companies as Deloitte, the United Dairy Industry Association, Florists’ Transworld Delivery, Erb Lumber Company and The Mott Foundation beginning in the early 1960s, Mr. Rappleye has also lectured at the University of Michigan and Oakland University. Mr. Rappleye holds a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Division and an MRS from the University of Detroit. He also completed postgraduate studies at the Boston University School of Theology and the DePaul University Law School. He is on the board of the Michigan State Bar Foundation, a certified mentor with SCORE, a 33rd degree Mason, a CPA and active in community and nonprofit organizations. He continues to consultant with individuals and companies.
