Throughout her career, Ms. Washington is especially proud of helping hospice patients and their families gain closure and providing a safe, inclusive and comforting place for hospice patients in long-term home care settings. Ms. Washington completed a pre-nursing program at Hinds Community College and is certified in phlebotomy. She served several hospice homes prior to founding Washington Home Health Agency and has leveraged her plethora of knowledge and expertise in overseeing all daily operations and staff, as well as treating her patients. Civically involved, she gives back to her community through job and health fairs, graduation ceremonies, birthday celebrations for patients and employees, and holiday-related celebrations. She also delivers lunches to other home health agencies, hospice companies, hospitals, nursing home facilities, elderly homes and places for veterans. In addition, Ms. Washington is a member of the Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church and attributes her success to her faith in God. She also credits her hard work and determination as contributing factors to her success. She has always found it rewarding to develop trusting relationships with her patients, providing them with the best personal and companion care services. Looking toward the future, Ms. Washington intends to expand her business and have numerous offices and facilities, including a uniform store, a CNA school and a modeling agency to build self-esteem for youth. A gifted public speaker in her spare time, she also would like to delve intomotivational speaking in order to reach and touch the lives of individuals across the globe. She is especially grateful for the support of her late grandmother, Dora Ann Lyles Rawlings, for modeling her into the woman she is today. A certified nursing assistant, Natasha Nicole Washington has excelled as the chief executive officer of the Washington Home Health Agency LLC in Vicksburg, Mississippi, since 2015. Establishing her own business with zero employees, within the past six years, the agency has grown to employ 15 individuals.
