244 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Drawing upon an MD from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic in 1989, Dr. Evelyn Gonzalez Del Rio has excelled as a pediatrician with the Yakama Indian Health Service Clinic in the State of Washington since 2016. Prior to this endeavor, she served in the same capacity with the Pine Ridge Indian Health Service in South Dakota between 2014 and 2016, and also held a private practice in her native Puerto Rico for more than 15 years. To remain abreast of changes within the field of medicine, Dr. Gonzalez Del Rio maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Pediatrics. She attributes her immense success to her strong personality and ability to chase her goals. Outside of her work ventures, she enjoys exercising, writing Spanish poetry, playing the piano and traveling, noting that she has traveled to 22 European countries, twice visited the Middle East, and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Central America. Looking forward, she intends to volunteer for Doctors Without Borders, experience different cultures and eventually ease into a well-deserved retirement. PEDIATRICIAN Yakama Indian Health Service Clinic Richland, WA Drawing upon more than 25 years of excellence in nursing and administration, Chiketa Kelly-Dale has excelled as the administrator of New Direction Home Healthcare of DFW, Inc., since 2016. Alongside this feat, she has also served as the administrator of CKD Hospice and Palliative Care and ADF Homecare since 2020. Providing comfort and support to patients of all ages, she has also recently been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Black Nurses Society of Greater Arlington in 2020, having formerly held experience in the same capacities for the Greater Arlington chapter of the National Association of Black Nurses. Congruent to these prominent roles, Ms. Kelly-Dale is the owner of Be Scentsible by CKD, through which she provides bath and beauty products. She holds an AS in nursing, cum laude, from the International College of Health Sciences, and authored the book “When the Nurse Becomes the Patient: Conquering Breast Cancer” in 2020, based upon her own experiences as a breast cancer survivor. Since recovering from breast cancer, she has performed speaking engagements to fellow survivors and advocates for mobile mammogram services.
