246 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Exhibiting compassion to her peers from a young age, Dr. Kathleen A. McNulty was drawn to psychology in order to study human nature and heal others. She received a BA from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, in 1980, followed by an MSW from Smith College in 1980. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree, she began working as a mental health aide and clinical social worker at various New Jersey-based hospitals and clinics before establishing a private practice in Rutherford, New Jersey, in 1987. Practicing in Rutherford for 12 years, she relocated to Ridgewood, New Jersey, in 1999, where she remains today. Alongside her private psychology practice, Dr. McNulty serves as an educator at Fairleigh Dickinson University Integrated Healthcare and the director and owner of Dr. McNulty and Associates. Obtaining a PhD later in her career, Dr. McNulty is a consultant, licensed clinical social worker, licensed psychologist in New York and New Jersey, and licensed marriage and family therapist. Often assimilating spiritual guidance with psychological measures, she is especially proud of helping her patients heal. Looking forward, she intends to train the future generation of medical professionals. CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, TEACHER, MENTOR Northvale, NJ Supported by a BA from Vassar College, an MS in education from Elmira College and a PsyD from Pacific University, Dr. Susan S. Mersereau is a clinical psychologist who specializes in clinical work and trauma. Undergoing two years of training at Century Sensory Motor Psychotherapy, she served as a psychology intern at Pacific Gateway Hospital and the Psychological Services Center between 1987 and 1989 and was a psychology resident from 1990 to 1991. While completing her residency, she began serving as a staff member at Pacific Gateway Hospital from 1990 until 1999, and also served in private practice between 1991 and 1993. Beginning in 1993, she was the director of the Pacific Center for Attention and Learning in Beaverton, Oregon, until her retirement. Enjoying neuropsychology and the manifestations of trauma in patients, Dr. Mersereau loved working with her patients the most, and notes that her work encompassed many levels of intense focus in order to best help the patient. She is a licensed psychologist in the State of Oregon and a diplomate of the American College of Forensic Medicine, and maintains affiliation with the American Psychological Association.
