Kramer has excelled as a partner of McDermottWill &Emery LLP in Chicago since 1993. As partner, she employs a multidisciplinary approach within the realms of financial transactions, derivatives and cryptocurrency with a particular focus on taxation, regulation, contract design, documentation and trading operations. She is the co-founder and co-chair of the Energy Service Group. Throughout her career, she has advised high net-worth individuals regarding their tax, documentation and regulation of investment activities. She has also represented taxpayers, such as hedge funds, in planning and IRS audits and appeals. Prior to attaining her most recent role, Ms. Kramer served Coffield, Ingaretti & Harris. Likewise, she is a former adjunct law professor at the Northwestern University School of Law. She draws upon a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude with high distinction, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a JD, cum laude, from the Northwestern University School of Law.
