289 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT Leveraging his desire to help others obtain justice in unjust situations, Richard A. Saliterman completed coursework in the history of U.S. diplomacy and the development of constitutional concepts at the prestigious Harvard University in 1965. Graduating summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a BA three years later, he subsequently received a JD from the Columbia Law School in 1971 and was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar the following year. Shortly thereafter, he pursued further education and completed coursework at the United States Naval Justice School and obtained an LLM from New York University in 1971 and 1974, respectively. At the inception of his career in 1971, Mr. Saliterman served the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., as a legal staff on the subcommittee on antitrust and monopoly for one year. In 1974, he was the acting director and deputy director of the Compliance and Enforcement Division of the Federal Energy Office in New York, and thereafter, served as a military attorney for the Presidential Clemency Board at TheWhite House in 1975. Since 1975, he has excelled as the president of Saliterman & Siefferman, P.C., in Minneapolis. Admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1974, Mr. Saliterman notably graduated from the FBI Citizen’s Academy in Washington, D.C., in 2006, having formerly served as a lieutenant in the JAG Corps of the U.S. Navy between 1972 and 1975. Since that time, he has served in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Utilizing his advanced degrees and plethora of expertise in military law and diplomacy, he was an adjunct professor of corporate law, business organization law and fundamental income taxation at the Hamline University School of Law from 1976 to 1981. He also has co-authored several texts and is a former chairman of the Hennepin County Bar Journal. Mr. Saliterman is recognized as a Super Lawyer, has been listed in the Bar Registration of Preeminent Lawyers, has been named a Five-Star Professional through the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, and holds an AV Rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
