319 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICALS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY Interested in physics since his high school years, Dr. Gabriel Y. Sirat was influenced by one of his high school teachers, who sparked within him an interest in the discipline. After graduating from high school, he attended Jerusalem University College and received a Bachelor of Science in 1973. For the following five years, he served as an assistant at the university until pursuing a doctorate degree. He received a PhD in 1983, and shortly thereafter, relocated to the United States from France. From 1982 to 1985, Dr. Sirat served as a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena before ultimately traveling back to France to pursue a full-time career. From 1986 to 1987, Dr. Sirat served as an assistant professor at Télécom ParisTech in Palaiseau, France. He soon escalated to the rank of full professor in 1988, where he remained until 1992. After accruing several years in the field, Dr. Sirat joined BioAxial in Israel and France as an inventor in 2010 – a position he still holds today. He frequently travels between France and Israel to showcase his inventions within the realm of physics. Although his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Sirat is especially proud of developing his very first invention, in which he leveraged work that was conducted in the 19th century to create modern, innovative tools that relate to image frequency and pixilation. He credits his success to his work experiences throughout his career, and he notes that his plethora of occupational experience taught him the significance of scientific and critical thinking skills. Looking forward, he intends to continue his scientific efforts and work on more patents. Dr. Sirat is a member of the Photoelectric Society and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (now known as SME). As a testament to his success and renown in the field, he has been highlighted in the second edition of Who’s Who in Science and Engineering in 1993 and the 11th edition of Who’s Who in the World in 1992. In addition, he was named a Top Educator by Marquis Who’s Who in 2018. Millennium Magazine Featured Listee GABRIEL Y. SIRAT, PHD INVENTOR BioAxial Paris, France
