60 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Sheila Rabb Weidenfeld has worked in communications since the mid-1960s and is president of D.C. Productions Ltd. Her career in television began with MetroMedia (now Fox TV) in 1966. Affiliated with NBC in New York and Washington, D.C, she created and produced “On the Record” and “Take It From Here,” and was talent coordinator for “That Showwith Joan Rivers.” She was Press Secretary to First Lady Betty Ford and named Special Assistant to the President. After leaving the White House, the Republic of San Marino appointed her Honorary Consul General to Washington, D.C. In recognition of her service, she was knighted by the Order of St. Agatha. Ms. Weidenfeld created and hosted one of the first home shopping television programs, “Your Personal Decorator” and is the author of the book “First Lady’s Lady.” The recipient of an Emmy Award, she has received recognition from various film and video festivals, including a Silver Screen Award. She has served on two Presidential Advisory commissions (Historic Preservation and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Council), and for over 20 years, chaired the Secretary of the Interior’s C&O Canal Historical Park Commission.
