344 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine TECHNOLOGY While working at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Thomas B. Hodges developed a newswire information system. Discovering how genuinely powerful the field can be, as well as how employees in the industry are always in demand, he decided on a career in technology. Since 2011, he has excelled as an independent consultant. Previously, Mr. Hodges served Computer Sciences Corporation as principal from 2000 to 2003, GTSI as a proposal manager from 2005 to 2008, Keane as a capture manager from 2008 to 2010, MicroTech as the senior vice president from 2010 to 2011 and Winning Proposals, Inc., as a sales director in 2015. He commenced his career in 1986 as a manager for the Planning Research Corporation, maintaining the role for three years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hodges attended the University of Virginia, from whom he earned a BS in education and an MEd in psychology in 1965 and 1966, respectively. At the University of Virginia, he quarterbacked two football teams, leading the ACC in passing and twice designated as an Academic All-American by the College of Sports Information. Later in his career, he attended American University in Washington, D.C., where he graduated with honors, earning an MBA in Finance in 1976. Additionally, he served five years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Captain. Mr. Hodges earned a Prestigious Six Sigma Black Belt in 2000. He attributes his immense success to his colleagues, who recognize his potential and have provided him with opportunities to improve upon his existing skills. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of writing a proposal for installing terrestrial processing platforms for the Geo-Stationary Weather Satellites. Likewise, he enjoyed writing a large proposal for FedEx to the U.S. Postal Service to operate the National Air Cargo System, which he notes was a $10 billion deal. THOMAS B.
