During his doctoral course, he taught students at Kwangwoon University, and also participated in the “Development of intelligence (vision/voice) device module” project at the KETI in Bucheon. Upon graduating with his doctorate degree, Dr. Park pursued postdoctoral studies at Chung-Ang University in their Institute of Culture Contents Technology in Seoul, serving as a researcher from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, Dr. Park joined Samsung Thales Co., Ltd., where he led several projects for developing automatic target tracking and recognition, artificial intelligence core algorithms, and developed the seeker system for guided missiles and rockets on its own for the first time. Dr. Park’s research achievements have been published in excellent domestic and international journals, and he was awarded an Excellence Award in recognition of his contributions at his company in 2009. In addition, Dr. Park was awarded a Bronze Prize in the field of new technology at the Military Science and Technology Fair hosted by Korea’s DAPA. Dr. Park is currently a chief engineer and a research and development leader for intelligent swarm drone-bots based on AI in Hanwha Systems Co., Ltd., which changed its name in 2016. His research results on image processing and recognition, data fusion, AI, and swarm drones have been continuously published in domestic and international journals and conferences, and ranked always the top paper in his company.
