CARTER Prior to commencing his lauded career, Thomas A. Carter served to the rank of master chief of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War between 1954 and 1976. Upon his departure from the military, he became a contract administrator for Red Lobster Restaurants in Orlando, Florida, between 1976 and 1978 prior to entering private practice. Serving in private practice for two years, he attained a Bachelor of Arts from Jones College in 1980 and subsequently served as a secretary for Blacando Development Corp. from 1980 to 1984, during which time he received a BBA, cum laude, from Jones College in 1982. Between 1984 and 1991, he was a chief engineer for D.A.M.S., Inc., and from 1996 to 2005, an estimator for an independent mechanical design company. Leveraging his military background and exceptional engineering prowess, Mr. Carter maintains affiliation with the Fleet Reserve Association, Armed Forced Top Enlisted Association, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the Rafman Club Foundation of Orlando. He is a certified construction inspector and has served as a consultant in his field. To attest to his success, he has been highlighted in several Who’s Who publications. Since 2010, Dr. Felix Franck has excelled as an electronics design engineer and a patent strategy officer in lighting electronics for OSARAM GmbH in Garching, Germany. Previously serving such companies as the Rosenheim Group and Osram Edison Clerici, S.p.A., in Treviso, Italy, where he was a senior designer, Dr. Franck commenced his career in 1988 as a research assistant for the Institute for Electrical Drives. He remained in that role until 1993. Drawing upon a BEE and an MEE from Ludwig-MaximiliansUniversität München from 1984 and 1988, respectively, Dr. Franck received a PhD from Technische Universität München in 1993. He currently holds five patents in the field, and has 27 patents pending. His proudest product was an electronic transformer that he made in 2004, which had been in production for more than 15 years. A member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Dr. Franck is a bassoonist in his spare time, having played for several orchestras in München, Germany.
