Formerly employed by Pizzeria Piatto d’Oro as an expert pizza maker in 2014, he decided to pursue his own course and founded The Landing Pizza & Kitchen - L’Approdo in Newton, Massachusetts, in 2019, where he serves as the owner. He attributes his and his restaurant’s success to his undying love for the culinary industry, as well as his own affinity for cooking pizza to perfection that is acclaimed by the Massachusetts residents. His services are also offered through DoorDash and GrubHub in order to best serve his customers during the coronavirus pandemic. Alongside his culinary passions, Mr. Ottani also enjoys conversing with his customers, who often express their gratitude and thrill of eating his creations. He is recognized for his diverse menu and the quality of his ingredients, which have all been prepared masterfully with authenticity and joy. A native of Italy himself, Mr. Ottani grew up surrounded by the culinary masterminds within Italian culture and has since leveraged his experience in Italy to provide the best food and service to his customers. He hails from the city of Latina, located along the Tyrrhenina coach between Naples and Rome. Prior to delving into the culinary arts, Mr. Ottani was in the engineering industry, having worked as a laborer for Perillo Quintino, a warehouse and repair technician for Shop Axer di Costantini Angela, a technical and organizational board and equipment member for Raponi Armanado and Tulin Annamaria, and a chief engineer for Gaming Srl and Dp Service Srl. Prior to immigrating to the United States, he studied in Italy under the master Napolitano Pizzaiolo Gianfranco Ambrosino.
