Since 2017, she has served as the president, owner and speech-language pathologist at Elite Therapy Associates in Edmond, Oklahoma. Ms. Parry attributes her success to her determination to make a difference in children’s lives, as well as her passion for the industry. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of the progress her patients have made in their personal and professional lives. Likewise, she holds great pride in being a mother, which she considers her most important role. To attest to her success, Ms. Parry was nominated for the Top 20 Speech-Language Pathologists in Oklahoma City in 2017. A member of the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in her spare time, she has been married to her husband Bill for many years, with whom she shares three children: Ethan, Zac and Sam. Drawn to the field of speech-language pathology since her undergraduate studies at Southern Nazarene University, Shea Nicole Parry earned a BS in biology in 1995. During this time, she worked at a children’s convalescent center in which she worked privately with a child with autism. In light of this formative experience, Ms. Parry became enthralled with the profession. She went on to receive a master’s degree in education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997 and an additional master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Oklahoma in 2001. At the inception of her career, Ms. Parry served as a speech-language pathologist fellow at Pinnacle Rehabilitation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, from 2001 to 2003 before becoming a full-time speech-language pathologist at Kingfisher Regional Hospital. Serving in that role between 2002 and 2012, she then joined the faculty at Full Circle Developmental Center, where she remained until the center closed in 2017.
