Drawing upon a vast array of expertise in business, trust, real estate, employment and personal injury matters, Mr. Cole has successfully represented a number of businesses, including sole proprietorships, partnerships and publicly traded entities, among others. Alongside these feats, he has also represented successfully thousands of individuals, having handled numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations across the State of California. Congruent to his work with Madden Jones, he has also excelled as a mediator, arbitrator and settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Prior to delving into his profession, Mr. Cole pursued a formal education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, from which he graduated cum laude with a JD in 1980 and represented the law school in state and national moot court competitions. Previously, he earned a BA from California State University, Long Beach, where he was captain of the Long Beach crew team and a four-year oarsman. Admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1980, he has maintained membership with the California, Los Angeles and Long Beach Bar Associations. He is a former president of the Joseph A. Ball/Clarence S. Hunt Inn of Court of Long Beach, where he served from 2005 to 2006 and again from 2006 to 2007. He has been a member of the Inn since 1991. As a testament to his resounding success, Mr. Cole has been recognized with an AV Rating through Martindale-Hubbell and as a Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2015. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of being recognized as a man of integrity, maintaining his word for over four decades and exhibiting compassion and diligence to all of his clients. To present, he remains a sports coach in his community. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue practicing law until he is unable to do so.
