In 1986, he began serving as a government contractor with a small firm, and eventually spearheaded his own businesses. For more than 25 years, he has excelled as the owner of Vertical Integrations. Likewise, he has also served as the owner of BMW LLC for more than three years and the owner and chief executive officer of BEM Consulting LLC in Silver Spring, Maryland, for more than seven years. While working in the information technology industry, Mr. Miller pursued a formal education at the University of Maryland, where he received a Bachelor of Science in information systems in 1994. Since that time, he has accrued certifications in Security+ and Network+ from Comp TIA, as well as certifications in CMMI, HDI and ITIL. Likewise, he has partnered with Microsoft Corporation and is a member of Comp TIA and AFCEA International. Equally passionate about civic engagement, Mr. Miller volunteers with the board of trustees of the Barrie School within his local community. Throughout his diversified career path, he has exemplified professional expertise in not only information technology, but also consulting, network integration and support, security and cybersecurity. In recognition of his outstanding feats in information technology and computer systems, Mr. Miller was recognized as one of the Best in Open Systems Solutions (BOSS). Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career and his businesses, as well as share his breadth of knowledge to others through his consulting work. I n the early stages of his career in the 1980s, Bradley E. Miller worked in the Library Division of the International Monetary Fund, which involved manual labor at that point in time.
