Since 2015, he has flourished as the president of Advanced Nationwide Security Corporation in Florida, and is in pursuit of an MBA degree. Mr. Ilesanmi attributes his success to his hard work ethic, being a strategic thinker and excellent manager, and his innate trust in his employees. In his day-to-day work environment, he oversees the operations of the company, and notes that he has been able to obtain multimillion dollar contracts since the inception of his company. He is especially proud of now overseeing a team of 60 employees. A fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and a charter member of the Institute of Personnel Development in London, Mr. Ilesanmi also maintains membership with Rotary International, ASIS International and the International Facility Management Association. In light of his success in the military during his early years, he attained an Army Achievement Medal. Looking forward, he intends to obtain contracts in different states. Leveraging his past experience in the military, having participated in Operation Desert Storm with the U.S. Army between 1988 and 1992, Anthony R. Ilesanmi has served in the security industry for 25 years. With an affinity for business, he attended Broward Community College and received an associate degree in business in 1995. Upon receiving his associate degree, he was hired as an institutional security chief and head of communication for the State of Florida, a role he held for two years. Concurrently, Mr. Ilesanmi pursued a Bachelor of Science in business administration, management and operations at Nova Southeastern University, which he attained in 1997. After his receipt of his bachelor’s degree, Mr. Ilesanmiwas self-employed in theprintingbusiness with various government agencies and the State of Florida between 1997 and 2000, at which point he decided to manage his father’s publishing business. Publishing books for schools in Nigeria, he remained in this role until 2002.
