Rubin obtained a diploma in medical assisting from the Omaha College of Health Careers in 1995. After obtaining a plethora of certifications, including as a medical assistant, certified coding specialist, certified pharmacy technician and registered medical coder, among other credentials, Ms. Rubin began serving as a reimbursement coordinator for Oncology Hematology West from 2001 to 2006. Throughout her lengthy career, she has served in medical billing and administration for myriad medical facilities, and since 2018, has excelled as a senior director of practice integration with U.S. Anesthesia Partners in Texas. Alongside this venture, she has also been the executive director, speaker and coach for the John Maxwell Team. Ms. Rubin has contributed curricula and course development and participated in the publishing of “Adams Guide to Coding,” distributed by Elsevier Publishing. A frequent speaker on health care and host of webinars, audio conferences, video conferences and roundtable discussions, she was named Empowered Woman of the Year and Top Healthcare Executive of the Decade by the International Association of Top Professionals in 2020. SENIOR DIRECTOR OF PRACTICE INTEGRATION U.S. Anesthesia Partners Richardson, TX Drawing inspiration from his mother, who was a health care worker, Dr. Donald Weber pursued a career in medicine. He received a BS and an MD from the University of North Dakota in 1978 and 1982, respectively, prior to completing his medical training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Weber has been excelling as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, since 1986, where he has also served as chair of the credentials committee and regional chair of obstetricsgynecology. From 1994 to 1996, he was chief of staff at the clinic. Dr. Weber is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, for whom he served as member of the nomination committee and member of the committee for the health care of underserved women, as well as vice chair and chair of the Wisconsin section. A past president of the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC), in 2007 he received the Callon-Leonard Award from WAPC.
