At the inception of her career in 2016, Dr. Han served as a special lecturer at Korea University and a lecturer at Myongji University in 2016. Briefly teaching at Yong-In Songdam College in Yongin, South Korea, in 2017, she then went on to serve as a lecturer at Ewha Women’s University and Sungshin Women’s University in 2018. She has excelled as an assistant professor and department chair at the Digital Seoul Culture Arts University. Currently, Dr. Han is teaching at The Catholic University of Korea. Alongside her primary vocation, Dr. Han has been a reviewer for the Textile Research Journal since 2015. Since 2013, Dr. Han has contributed her wealth of knowledge to various publications, exhibitions, conferences and associations. She authored “A Study on Thermal and Physical Properties of Nylon Fabric Treated by Metal Sputtering (Al, Cu, Ni)” in Textile Research Journal and contributed “A Feast of Pink” to the MCM HAUS Flagship Gallery at the Korean Fashion Illustration X Plus MCM. She contributed “21st Century Robe a La Francaise Using ‘Optical Fiber, LED, Velvet’” to the Korea Fashion & Costume Design Association’s 2020 Annual International Invited Fashion Exhibition. With several other credits to her name, Dr. Han has attributed her success to perseverance, and she has found the most rewarding aspect of her career to be when her students provide her messages of gratitude while taking her college courses and after graduation. Throughout the course of her career, she has learned that she should exhibit diligence and always remain modest, as well as treat her students as if they were her own family.
